Please check back, as events are (hopefully going to be) added throughout the year!
2022 April showers bring positivity powers! Super chuffed to announce that I was accepted in the Craft & Design Category for the 61st Toronto Outdoor Art Fair (#TOAF61) (https://torontooutdoor.art/) , happening onine from July 8 and in-person at Nathan Phillips Square from July 15 to 17. Looking forward to (re)connecting with artists and art enthusiasts.
Patience, hope, possibility: the aspirations for this year, looking forward to more in-person events....see above!
Meanwhile, always and mow more than ever - if that's a thing - may we support each other, respect one another, create art together, and above all, be kind - the human race depends on it. Be well and stay safe out there!
2021 Patience, patience...and a return to the BAMM at the Barrie Farmers Market for several appearances. How wonderful to connect and reconnect with people, friends, customers!
2020 Sadly, no in-person events transpired and were much missed. At the same time, I received a few important commissions - yay for goals and deadlines!
2019 -FUSION The Ontario Clay & Glass Association: The C & G Show:October 18-20, 2019, at Artscape Wychwood Barns, Toronto, ON (https://www.clayandglass.on.ca/) This was the 23rd Annual juried Show & Sale of exceptional glass and ceramic arts, and I was absolutely chuffed to be accepted on my first-time application. The Annual Conference: (May 31), June 1-2 at McMaster University, Hamilton, ON This was a lifetime opportunity, as I volunteered in assisting Lisa Hammond, MBE, and John Colbeck during the entire two days of their demos.
- Toronto Outdoor Art Fair: July 12 - 14 at Nathan Phillips Square, Toronto, ON (https://torontooutdoor.art/) This was the 58th annual TOAF, and again, I was grateful to be accepted on my first-time application as one of 360 artists & artisans selected from over 800 applicants.
-Barrie Farmers Market: Several dates for my inaugural year as part of the regular market and the first BAMM (Barrie Artists and Makers Market series): August 3, August 17*, September 21*, October 5, and October 12. (http://www.barriefarmersmarket.ca/)
-tales from tuscany: A self-produced pop-up exhibition and sale held at the former Art in House gallery space, Barrie, ON. After four successive years, I took a break from this event in 2019 to focus on other projects, and then you know 2020/2021, but stay tuned...
